SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS

All work undertaken here at G.T.S. SHEETMETAL LTD complies to all the current health and safety legislation laid down by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Our policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and safe systems of work for all employees. We will provide such information, training & supervision of employees to satisfy these requirements and will issue such personal protective free of charge.
Each contract comes with a unique method statement which outlines the procedures to be used on clients sites so that all task are sufficiently planned and implemented safely. We also carry out a risk assessment on each site before work starts to highlight areas which are potentially hazardous and seek to take preventative measures so that safety is in no way compromised.
Equipment required by legislation:
The company will also accept the responsibility for health & safety of visitors on our premises who may be affected by our activities.
The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements for the implementation of this policy are set out within this document.
It is the duty of all
employees to be aware of , and conform to the policy and make the work area
as safe as possible.
This policy will be updated regularly to accommodate new safety legislation , changes in company size & structure, etc.
